: Die Grasverdunstung gibt an, wieviel Wasser über die Vegetation des Einzugsgebiets an einem Tag der Betrachtungszeitraums verdunstet. Die hierfür gewählte Einheit sind Millimeter.

[edit] Parameter Type

Example of Time Series Management

KalypsoHydrology differs in Time series management between different types of time series which here are called Parameter types. The time series are grouped in particular in time series management according to their Parameter type. The following parameter types are available in Kalypso:

Outflow [m³/s]
This parameter describes the volume of water in [m³], which drains from or into the given catchment area within the given unit of time, (in this case in seconds).
Grass evaporation[mm]
The evaporation of grass indicates how much water the vegetation of the area may evaporate on a specific day of the observation period. Millimetres are used as the unit for this purpose.
Relative humidity, daily average in 2m height [%]
The parameter Mean humidity indicates the percentage of humidity that prevails on different days of the observation period.
Temperature, daily average in 2 m height [°C]
This parameter specifies the average temperature per day in 2m height. The unit for this purpose is degrees Celsius (°C).
Wind speed, daily average in 2m height [m/s]
The mean wind speed is the average speed of the wind [m/s] per day. It is the average of all measured wind speeds per day of the observation period.
Precipitation [mm]
The precipitation is specified in [mm] per time unit.
Lake evaporation [mm]
The Lake evaporation is a value that reflects the evaporation from free water surfaces. This is specified in millimetres per day of the period under review.
Total Sunshine duration [h] per day,
The Sunshine duration parameter is used to approximate estimation of the radiation of the sun's rays on the earth for a specific area. This also provides value for the time and strength of the cloud.
